A hearing on the Motion to Quash her Subpoena for the Gaxiola trial has been scheduled for 9:30 am in Judge Fields' courtroom at 100 W Congress, Room 580, Tucson Arizona.  Laine Lawless says:  "A writer shouldn't have to go to these extremes just to be allowed to attend a public trial, whether attending as a member of the media or a member of the public.  It's shameful of the prosecutors to bar me from the proceedings, when they obviously think I have nothing to contribute which would help them!  We used to have a saying in show business:  PLAY OR PAY!  A lawsuit may be in the future if I'm not allowed to perform my job and attend the trial to write Blonde on the Border:  The Government's Case Against the Minutemen.
